David Murray founded EM Squared in 2013. He has worked across a range of high value deals during his 30 years in the media industry including as Head of Sports Rights at the BBC, Vice President of the European Broadcast Union and Director of the Fozmuz Sports Rights Advisory Boutique.

Deals include with FIFA, UEFA, the IOC, the English Premier League, the English FA, the NFL, the NBA, the ECB, the ICC, Cricket Australia, F1, the R&A, Augusta National, Wimbledon, World Athletics, Six Nations Rugby Union, World Rugby, the RFL, the Commonwealth Games and many, many more.

He has been teaching and coaching negotiation for 10 years, drawing upon his real world experiences. He has lectured on Sports Rights and Negotiation on the University of Salford MBA programme, the University of Liverpool Sports Msc and Football MBA programmes, and run the Negotiation executive training programme at Salford CPD.
